The White Lotus activation process prepares the serum in the presence of both genuine crystals, connecting the skincare line to the same crystal philosophy as the tools it is designed to be used with.
Should the serum go on before or after the facial oil?
Serum first, oil second. The serum has a lighter texture that absorbs directly into clean skin to deliver its active ingredients. The facial oil applied afterward seals the serum in and provides the slip needed for jade rolling or gua sha. If you prefer to use just one product with your crystal tools, either works alone, but the layered combination of serum then oil delivers the most complete ritual.
Is this serum suitable for use with microneedling?
The serum is formulated to be natural and free of the synthetic ingredients that cause problems with the increased absorption after microneedling. For the immediate post-needling application White Lotus primarily recommends the Organic Green Tea Facial Oil due to its clinically established soothing profile. The serum is excellent for the days between microneedling sessions as part of the daily routine that maintains and extends treatment results.
How should I store the serum and how long does it last?
Store the serum away from direct sunlight and extreme heat, ideally in a cool dark place like a bathroom cabinet or bedroom drawer. Natural formulations without harsh synthetic preservatives are best used within the period indicated on the packaging once opened. With daily use of 3 to 5 drops the 30ml bottle typically lasts two to three months, which aligns well with using it fresh.
